EXPERIENTIAL YACHTING FORUM

The first international forum to discuss the alternative use of Superyachts and discovering unique yachting experiences, that bring additional value and purpose to the use of a vessel for yacht owners, charterers and crew.

This event is a great opportunity for Yachting Professionals, Experience Providers, Owners, Owner Representatives and Captains to evaluate yachting from a different angle.

For this first edition, we welcomed a record-breaking number of 100 physically present attendees to our sold-out forum at the Yacht Club de Monaco and 250 attendees online from all four corners of the world including Martinique, USA, Europe, UAE and as far as Australia.
The forum hosted over 16 break-out sessions with Experience Economy experts and welcomed 23 speakers and panelists including our fantastic moderators.

Anastasios Economou has been active in yachting in the role of yacht owner for the past 26 years. Engaged in multiple refits and charter operations. He is the Founder and Managing Director of iGroup and currently the YPO Global Chairman 2020-2022. YPO - Young President's Organisation - is the global leadership community of extraordinary chief executives.
At the Experiential Yachting Forum, together with other yacht owners, he will share his visions on the yachting needs and expectations of the next generation of yacht owners.

Raffaele, leveraging his three decades experience in finance, has been scouring the market for investment opportunities driven by unique market circumstances, based on a deep understanding of their processes, positioning and dynamics.
His activity started at Goldman Sachs and then GLG Partners, where he was one of the Founding Members and Partner, acquired in 2010 by Man Group. Subsequently, in 2012 he founded the alternative investment manager Tyndaris, which was sold in late 2019 to Tyrus Capital.

Lastly, Raffaele has diversified his investments in a portfolio of complementary ventures, spanning from fintech to lifestyle publishing and alternative foods, consolidating his interest in dedicating more time on ad-hoc & special situation opportunities.

Maria is Monaco based entrepreneur in the yachting sector, charter broker and the founder of Experiential Yachting. Throughout her 12 years in the industry Maria has acquired an important circle of HNWI and realised fruitful collaborations with renowned brokerage houses and shipyards, bringing out-of-the-box approaches based on fundamental values of the industry.
A passionate adventurer, she knows yachting from both sides: as her work and also as a Charterer and yacht owner's family member. She used to be one of the first in the industry, who has organized unique yacht charters in such destinations as Northern Norway, Madeira, Alaska, Antarctica and even Tanzania.
Two years ago, when a close person to her was diagnosed with a rare neurological disease, Maria started to explore how a yacht can be used as a place to conduct various therapies.
At the Experiential Yachting Forum, she will talk about Yachting Therapy ( Experiential Therapy on a Yacht) - a unique program on a yacht, that combines philosophical approach with natural power of the sea and waves, aiming to remediate a health problem and improve the quality of life for those living with certain serious diseases.

Robert’s passion is uniting people and organisations to achieve things that are beyond the scope of the individual. He is co-founder and executive director of Water Revolution Foundation.
Robert manages the foundation’s daily operations, and primarily the completion of the assessment tools that are currently being developed, partnerships the foundation engages in and the various joint projects with industry players to drive sustainability forward. A keen sailor for all of his life, Vasco Buonpensiere has always been yachting fan who left his career as a
lawyer to follow his passion.
In 2010 (the worst year ever for the yachting industry) he co-founded Cantiere delle Marche where he is Member of the Board as Sales and Marketing Director. In 5 years, CdM was already become absolute market leader, having sold an average of one boat ever 3 months and representing 60% of its relevant niche. Today, after 11 years from inception, CdM still maintains absolute leadership in its segment.
Vasco has also been member of the board at the International Superyacht Society and has been key speaker in many of conferences around the world.
